a few questions about the hull designs and abilities on them.
1. i think i read in one topic that the organic armor ability only works on the organic hulls (i think it was a response by Captain Kwok). is this correct?
2. if this is correct then does the crystal armor ability only work on the crystal hulls?
reason i am asking is i want to combine them into a single hull list that will give the abilities of whatever racial traits selected without having to have multiple ships listed. as it is if you have organic then have the organic and the regular ships listed for building (i myself tend to play organic and crystalline so i have all 3 hullsets listed). i know this could get unweildly listing all of the abilities for each racial trait but i think it would be better than trying to create a hull list for each of the racial traits.

Adding the "Component - Regeneration" ability on a hull will only add extra generation points to components on the design that have the same ability - so it has nothing to do really with specific types of hulls.
It's probably possible to merge them all into 1 list, but will take some creative usage of formulas to achieve. It might be easier just to restrict (ie hide) normal hulls to Organic/Crystalline races when they've research their racial technology.
