Just wanted to confirm, when making new research options and new components all I need is to add a regular image to the respected folders and the respected main image file, yes?
What about for facilities? I've never actually invaded a planet before so don't know about that. Thanks!

You are going to need to make a new model and texture, and then a corrosponding entry in the Combat_Ground_Facility_XFileClasses.txt file.
Or, you can recycle one already in the game.
