Space Empires V General
On page 18 of the SEV manual, it says the bases "... and often serve as a commerce center." How is this so? I tried putting people onto a base, they just turned into regular cargo. Is this a typo, or a feature that will be implemented in the far off future?

There's nothing wrong with using a good idea from some where else.

Who ever said it was a good idea? Hundreds of extrenuous starbases scattered haphazardly about the galaxy? No thanks.

I think that's just flavour text, without any actual bearing on the game itself, and as far as I know there are no plans to make bases affect trade in any way. Otherwise people would accuse us of ripping of GalCiv.
