I'll be adding in the latest FQM plus some other non-savegame friendly changes, so v1.05 will not be save game compatible with v1.04 games.
I believe these lines are the only ones you need to add starting at line 58:

Small bug:
- When trying to start a quickstart game with a invalid quadrant type (pre-selectionned when ussing a mod), for instance paradise quadrant type, the game crashes. It wouldn't be that much of a problem, except for the fact that the game doesn't tell you why it crashes...
- Game crashes when trying to load an invalid empire.

Is there by any chance a list of the files and scripts that were changed? It makes it a bit quicker to update a mod if you don't have to search through each file for changes.

There seems to be a problem with the balance mod and the 1.33 patch, I did what Kwok told us, putting the settings.txt file of stock game in the balance mod , i have a lack of resources and i have a lot (like 15) of farming , mining and radioactives planets and none of those planets would construct resources facilities ,and now ,of course it scraps all of my ships btw all ministers are computer controlled), I suppose that i will have to wait for balance mod 1.05

4. Fixed - Facilities were not showing up in Ground Combat.
I think this means that we can now destroy facilities during ground invasions. So, if your invasion begins to fail then target facilities. The AI might do the same to us though; or maybe after improvements to the AI.

Tsk. No mentions about the AI not inviting everyone to alliances anymore. The same about AI using stealth. And still not pregenerated empires to load.

There are not any facilities in the ground combat simulation. I did not try a real invasion.

I think you need to add them as the planet's cargo when you set the defending troops.

Ugh. So Aaron goes and releases the patch early. I'll try and get the next balance mod update out tonight.
If you try and load your v1.03/v1.04 Balance Mod copies, you'll get some missing fields in settings.txt errors - you can copy these entries from the default settings.txt into your Balance Mod settings.txt to fix.
