Great, another game whose release would be filled with Bugs. Cept this time they cant patch it to make it better...

Or one for PS2!!! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

If you like strategy games for the DS, I would recommend Advance Wars Dual Strike. I'd also recommend Age of Empires Age of Kings, except that that game has the annoying tendency to self-destruct if you try to save a skirmish game and your name is fewer than 4 characters long... and when I say self-destruct I mean self destruct - it completely blanks the cartridge, you can't even start a new game, it just gives you a black screen when you start the game! 8O
But Advance Wars DS is really nifty... it's a turn-based strategy game where you command tanks and stuff and try to destroy the enemy units on the map or capture their HQ. Additionally there are different commanders who have their own strengths, weaknesses, and special abilities (for instance, Commander Colin can build units cheaply but they have less firepower, and one of his abilities is increasing firepower proportional to funds remaining), and you can swap between two commanders chosen before a battle during the course of the battle to switch up the tactics. You just have to not mind the anime style presentation of the game and goofy "power meters"... Oh yes, and they even threw in "Combat", an arcade style minigame where you take a lone unit and march it around the map evading enemy shots and trying to destroy all the units - there really are a lot of cool options in this game! The only thing missing is Internet multiplayer - unfortunately you have to have a friend with the game cartridge to play multiplayer.
