Early Ground Combat Question |
I have looked through the forums because I thought this question would surely have already been addressed, but could not find the question or answer anywhere. I am using SEV 1.25r2 on a small map with the normal number of AI players. I am playing low-tech, low-resource. I am building troop transports near the beginning and invading AI worlds within the first game year or two. The problem is, the AI is not producing any troop defense. Militia don't even appear on home worlds. I assume this must be because in the early stages, perhaps its troop designs are invalid or something. Could someone tell me what file I need to "mod" to allow the AI to defend itself? After I ran into this problem, I went in and modified the number of militia units created based on the planet population, but at this time it is not producing any at all. Also, how far into the game will the AI begin producing troop units in 1.25r2?

may be you should use the balance mod, ai planet have troop on them from as soon as turn 2.
