Trying to take a planet with a Carrier and Fighters? |

Well title says it!
When I use the attack command the Carrier attacks with its fighters destroying the planet.
Is there a command to first clear the orbit of enemy assets and then proceed to CAPTURE the planey rather than DESTROYING it every time.
Concerned about the EU labeling me a war Criminal

It's doable... You just need to turn off the autolaunching of fighters, then manually launch whatever you need to take out the defences, and give your carrier the Drop Troops order. Then your fighters will clear out the enemy ships, and your carrier will drop whatever fighters it has in cargo onto the planet for an invasion.
Suction feet are not to be trifled with!
