Stealing Tech - Does it happen? |
I don't recall if I have ever managed to steal a tech from the AI or not and I tend to use Intel a LOT. Would this fall under Espionage or Sabotague? Empire Wide? Sadly, the descriptions are not all that informative though some are quite obvious. This isn't one of them though.

I have never gotten a good tech from stealing from the enemy. There is another thread going about just this topic.

Much more techs i usualy get by wanting in eny treaty they propose to them giving me their techs. Or via capturing ships.

Even capturing a ship won't give you crystaline tech if that is not what is prediposed to your race.

Figured it out. It is sabotague empire wide...odd thing is, I will get a msg that says they stole the tech, the research screen shows i have gained a TL but no new tech appears until i spend at least 1 turn and 1% into researching it.
