Resorce Production |
Hi everybody,
My first post, Yay!
Anyway I've A question About the production of the Monolith facility, dose the resorce raiting of a planet effect prodution rates and do things like a Mineral Scanner or Time Shrine have an affect on Monolith generation?
Oh and maybe a dumb one but do you need both tacion and standard scanners to see all ships? cos I've got both on my ships.

the resource percentage is still applied on all resource generation, including monolith facilities. Had to look it up since I usually dont use them.

A mod can make a facility that produces a flat amount of resources, but nothing like this exists in stock. The closest thing would be solar collector facilities that make all three resources based on star count. These also do not take planet percentages into account.
As for basic and tachyon sensors, you only need one or the other. As of now only humans are capable of using cloak, so Tachyon sensors are only useful for insanely fast exploration in singleplayer.

For me it seems to take production from facility * value * stars.
I ONLY use solar collectors and my planets are never production in all 3.

Are you sure it's taking the planet values into account? It shouldn't, since the production comes entirely from the stars... It probably takes the population bonus into account, though.

resource rating does effect the rates for anything that generates resource.
IDK about those racial devices though, i'd assume they should work as it just targets production and not the structure.
