Can't find Stellar Manipulation |

Hi, I'm playing my first game with BM 1.03, and I cannot find SM in the research options anywhere. Is it not supposed to be there in BM, or did I somehow disable it before I started the game..? I have searched the forums but have found no clues.

The Stellar Manipulation tech area requires level 3 Astrophysics.
