Modable Warp points
I am aware that this is not very posible at the moment but how far can this be done at the moment and how far would you like it to go?
So far all I have seen is the occasional warp point which causes damage to ships passing it normaly conected to entering a black hole system
Re: Modable warp points
Size limit is meant to be there, that just needs finishing/bug fixing
Anyone know if the one way warp points work also?
Re: Modable warp points
These sound great (apart from ordnance-loss, which is hard to justify). Draining shields would be an interesting and possibly logical effect, as well.

Re: Modable warp points
Well, the code for SEIV could handle that if you used the map editor... don't know about SEV.
In SEIV's map editor you could create a warp point in one system pointing to another, but unless you placed a corrisponding WP on the other side it was totally one way.

Re: Modable warp points
I'd like to see:
Size limited warp holes (only ships with max tonnage of X can enter)
Supply draining warp holes (two types, one that drain a percentage and one that drain a fixed amount, the latter of which can be used for _all_ warp hole travel in a mod)
Ordnance draining warp holes (as above)
Amnesia inducing warp holes (ships and fleets loose experience for entering)
Damaging warp holes (as above, but it only damages a specific type of component. Like one that only hits crew, or one that only hits master computers).
"Random" warp holes, that deposit a ship in a random location of the exit system.
