Something weird with patch 1.25 and Balance Mod 1.02

I started a new game with SE5 and the BM 1.02 and there's something weird that hapened to me that never happened with patch 1.20

When a ship returns to a planet to retrofit, it says the ship can not retrofit cause there's no space yards ( or is it space station ?) but then the ship would make one more move but this time it would say that the retrofit was done (without the space station)...

Something wierd on a sequential game. I patched the stock 1.20 up to stock 1.25 with no difficulties. But I've noticed the "Space yard not at this location" thing, too. And then I noticed that two of my minefields are NOT on the warp point. They are also one hex short.

Death, destruction, mayhem and confusion. Another perfect day.

I think we are seeing the effects of a late change in the v1.25 patch that "fixed" clearing orders on the last movement point - so on the last movement point perhaps the orders are trying to be executed?

Mod's didn't update

My stock save games are fine - but it didn't want to load either my Balance or IR Mod Savegames...

What you get is an error reading value "Space Combat Allow Retreat"

thats easy enough. Go to your game types folder, to the mod, data folder,
Settings text.

use Find Next/F3 - find "space Combat Crew boarding Strength"; and on the next line, add your self:

Space Combat Allow Retreat := TRUE
I made it TRUE, but thats up to you, isn't it?
...and don't be like me and mis-type that the first time Eye-wink

Here's the catch...
I have no idea what ELSE it didn't modify.
But the game WILL load.

No there was no space yards at all , so the opening window was right , my ship was 1 hex before the planet when the message was stating i couldn't retrofit , and then the ship would make one more move bein on the planet and then that other window would open sayin the retrofit was done, hope it will be fixed, i don't know if that thing happens in the Vanilla version though

As posted on SE.net, it's actually an SE:V hardcoded issue so I can't fix it via the scripts.

This is "one hex short" thing is effecting other ships, too. Irritating but not fatal. I've seen it happen to ships not being retrofitted and colony ships.

Example: Ship 123 is told to join Fleet 456 at planet XYZ. Fleet 456 moves off due to orders received. Ship 123 continues to move to Planet XYZ until it is one hex short of the planet. It then drops the "Move to Planet XYZ" order and shifts order to "Join Fleet 456".

Colony ship example: Colony ship ordered to Move to Planet XYZ and Load All Populations, then Colonize Planet ABC. One hex short of Planet XYZ, the "Move To" Order drops, All populations load and the colony ship moves towards Planet ABC.

Like Captain Kwok says, I think it's a hard coded error in the 1.25 patch.
