how do I trade with an alliance member? Possible bug...

I want to speak to a member of my alliance because I want to trade for a tech they have. There seems to be no way to initiate a trade with a specific member in the current interface. If I initiate a trade with the alliance I see a list of the techs I have, not what the alliance mebers have.

Also a definite bug is that when I look at my alliance members Technologies it lists all of my technologies for every member. We do not have any share research/tech rules so it's impossible for them to have exactly what I have and furthermore I don't have what they have (i.e. one guy has Ice Colony tech and i don't)
