I (99% think) i have propulsion expert trait, and my frigates run with speed 13 with ion motors.
AI's frigates with ions run speed 14.
How's that possible?

A Frigate with level 2 Ion Engines and the Propulsion Experts trait can have 14 speed.

lvl 4 ion engines and Propulsion Experts trait= Frigate with 15 speed.
lvl 5 ion engines and Propulsion Experts trait= Colonizer/freighter with 13 speed

thanx. I was used from stock to fact that all ions are practicaly same (except storage).
They have lvl2 and i have lvl1. So i'll research lvl2 and be happy

Maybe they have a higher
Maybe they have a higher level in ion engines. In the BM your speed improves when you research higher levels of an engine.
