A few questions |

Hello, I was wondering how you increase the loyalty of a conquered race? In one of my games I had a race conquered and was able to keep their happiness at jubilant through the use of troops and the happiness bonus from the Genetic recoding lab, however their loyalty kept going down till it hit zero and they revolted. Am I missing something? Is there a civic tech I should research?
Also what is the purpose for having the Gestation Vats and the Genetic encoding Lab in the same system? Do they stack together for population growth? If they do do they also stack with the Medical Labs bonus to growth?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Stacking Stuff
I go for the Gestation Vat first then build the recoding lab and the replicant center. I also like the Pacification Center for keeping the folks happy. You have to be careful about keeping pesky aliens around. If they are becoming unruly then just space them and be done with their revolting behavior. Keeping your systems happy helps production. Stationing military ships and units helps keep the populace happy you also have to keep enemy ships out of your system as they can drag down loyalty. Losing battles in your systems makes your folks sad so make sure to avoid losing battles in your systems. Lots of factors can affect loyalty so you have to look for a multiple-pronged answer.

Lots of Troops and Moving
Lots of troops will definately keep the residents of your alien world from revolting. Try moving some aliens from that planet to a another one and transfer your race to the other planet. This will help speed up the intergation. I know it has worked for me.

I think that varius
I think that varius facilities with the same abilities don't stack.
For the revolted conquered citizen, they're loyal to their empire, so you can do little but sending troops and waiting until you absorb them. This is a LONG time task, until you have a governement type, racial traits or Society types that enahnced your rate of alien citizen assimilation...
