Stupid script bug...

For several hours i have been stuck with a bunch of design script bugs i can't find the source. For some reason the AI keep trying to build one of my fighter design in a freighter hull (mixing stuff from both) and can't find why (and no, i did not mix up "fighter" with "freighter"). Also the AI refuse to put space yard on my space yards ship or space yard bases. And last, my troop designs that used to work now never get their weapons. I've checked everything at least a 100 times but can't find where the script is bugged. Everything else work properly, exept one of two designs that get two ECM when they should only get one...

I guess part of the problem is that i based my work on Maran's who got part of his code from you Kwok. There is a lot of missing code i had to either make or cut and pace from your mod so the darn thing works. Now most of the stuff work but i still get oddities. I found the ECM bug, managed to get my Space yard ship to work, but still get my darn fighter inflated into a Freighter (with both fighter and ship components). And for some odd reason, my troop don't get their weapons like they used to 2 days ago with the very same code...

Well, if you want to take a look at it kwok, i could send you my mod along the scripts. Maybe you can figure out what i messed up.

If this was crystaline tech.... Smiling Then your probably using 1.00 Balance mod and need to change to 1.01. Kwok fixed that bug.

Now i found it. For some reason, there was a typo in Global settings where fighter was turned into freighter, just for the crystalline hull. That damn bug made me waste so many hours...

Edit : Oh, that was Kwok fault then... I know who to shoot now Sticking out tongue.

For instance, i found why my Base space yard were not designing properly. Some code i added were not read in the proper order, causing some items to be added before the required ones. I changed it and it works fine now.

Now, if only i could figure out why my troop are not designing themselves... Something must be blocking the design, but my troops are almost mirror copy of my fighters and they do work. I can't understand why they don't design as they used to...

I found it, after having rewritten about half the code i have put in my darn mod, i found what was wrong... So silly, several variables had one letter in the wrong case. It suck so much that i wasted almost 2 days of modding trying to figure out that simple mistake...
