Black Hole Accretion Disk Missing

They are also a lot nastier than they used to be in SEIV. A glowing acreation disk would make them lokk even cooler I agree

I must say, I prefered the look of black holes in SE:IV, but I was never quite sure why. This is it. I missed the accretion disk. If MM added that in again, eventually, I would risk hunt for black holes just because of how cool they look

I have lost more ships to them in a couple of months playing SEV than I ever recall doing with SEIV which I played for a couple of years. I habitually mark them as systems to avoid to prevent minister controlled ships taking short cuts through them (I can still hear the screams of the trapped colonists).
