Need help with design creation file

I've managed to figure out how this file is compiled. I noticed it is included in the empire main script lol. Now I can make changes to it, or so I thought. I've managed to get the AI to put more armor on its designs. Next I tried adding combat sensors, I tried 2-3 different codes and nothing worked. What would be the best way to get the AI to add combat sensors on its attack ships? If the AI uses Capital Ship Missile, is it possible to write code that would exclude the combat sensors since it isnt needed on a missile ship? I've noticed that the AI doesnt put Ordnance storage on its designs, has anyone figured out how to put those on? So far my AI designs its starting attack ship with 250 armor, 1 DUC cannon, 2 Supply storage. A lot better than the default but it still needs Combat Sensors and Ordnance Storage.

While missiles always hit, their damage is affected by the enemy's defense (minimum damage is 50%). For what you ask, you should check either Maran's or Kwok's script files, both have scripted something to add devices to their ship designs (But Maran's is closer to stock).
