Demo needs updating |
Whilst having a demo isn’t vital we really do need to consider updating it from 1.08 as it’s no longer that representative of the game it’s trying to promote. it also very much gives the impression which is now incorrect that the game is full of bugs most of them in the Demo are in fact long since fixed in the game proper
Annoying problem with that
Making money off of the work of someone else without paying for it is always mostly illegal, so I don't see MM requesting anything like this. Maran, for example, would have to willingly provide the AI for use in the demo/full game.

I did say that Aron / MM would have to come to some agreement with modders, not just give their stuff away.

Please don't start this war again! A buncha people will come along and whine about how he shouldn't work ont he demo untill he fixes the bugs in what they paid for!

However I think it really needs to get an updated AI put in. If Aaron and MM could come to an agreement with some of the modders and add in some of their AI's it would make the Demo a lot better, and show what the game is capable of.
Mind you if the demo used modded AIs it would be rather bad not to have them included in the full game........
