Combat: Point - Defense and Warp Point |
I've founded two little things that annoy me... the first: Point Defense. If you deselect auto targeting, for using the weapon in more logic manner than only "Fire at will" that uses also component like tractor/repulser weapon, or weapon with very long recharge rate, or weapon useles (like shield delepter with a no shielded ship) that only eat supply, the point defense won't target anything. Yes, with fighter and satellite you can target manually, but with seeker? You can't target manually a seeker!!! So, I think that
a)Or it will be possible to target seeker or
b)Make PD weapon totally automatic, independent from autotargeting or not.
The second thing is... in combat, there is a little button, the least in right down corner... it seems to be a Warp Point related button, but if I try to escape from a fight using WP, it won't function... what the hell is that button?!

1st point, I completely agree PD weapons should be on autofire by default and stay that way, but have an option where you can turn them off as I am sure someone will find a reason why they want them disabled (or some of them disabled)
2nd point, I think its a feature that hasn't been implemented yet, or is there so modders can use it. However i think it would be great if you could use it (after a short delay of jumping in)
