After many tests, it seem that you couldn't create a component that generates resources from the star, like Solar Generator Facilities do... maybe it's like the research/intelligence problem? Anyone could help me?

It means...
Space object mean that only the ship/planet/unit is affected by this ability. Then you have several other thing you can affect, like the player, the enemy, everyone else but you, the whole galaxy...
