Bring Back The Old Map Please!!!

Soumis par PIGKiller le Jeu, 2006-12-07 12:46 Space Empires V General

Someone please tell me that they are going to bring back the old strategic map with the filters so I can specifically identify which systems belong to which of my enemies. It is so hard to plan ahead for a campaign when you don't even know where the enemy may be. Just having a list of hostile systems does nothing for me in a large game because it doesn't tell me who owns them (or potentially owns them). I LOVED the SEIV version of the strategic map that allowed you to filter out the others races to focus on your foe of choice. I loved being able to locate choke point systems that became my borders, buffering the rest of my empire from my enemies. I could send ships to specific locations without wasting countless hours trying to go through all the systems that come up as RED. Can we please get this back in the game??

look at v1.19, MM is starting to do some of these interface upgrades. This is when the already great game becomes awsome!
