Cowardly Fleet? What am I doing wrong? |

Space Empires V General
Playing 1.17. I attacked a planet with warships and a troop ship, Wiped out the opposing ships and successfully took the planet. There are two satellites left, but my fleet has retreated to the hex just next to the planet and now refuses to enter the planet hex so I can finish taking out the two satellites. I cannot get fresh ships from outside the fleet to enter the hex either. What am I missing here?

Minefields?

Check if that planet has a marked minefield. If it does you need to go into Empire Options under Movement I think and turn off the option that does not allow your ships to move into marked minefields.
