Maybe it's already planned to include this feature as it was present in SE4. It would be nice to set all the other TF ships' member numbers, and thus warp point order, as well. But being able to set the leader at least, would help a lot in tactical combat.
And there were those useful icons in SE4 you could enable in tactical combat that indicated the taskforce ( a fleet in SE4 ) that a ship was a member of.
