Borders/ Spheres of influence? |

Space Empires V General
One thing I miss about SE4 is the ability to see (by color) spheres of influence / empire borders on the galaxy map (or whatever it's called). So far I have found an enemy/ally switch in the expanded map of SE5, but it doesn't seem to work quite right or give any useful info.

Well, in SEIV, the AI

Well, in SEIV, the AI empires just claimed everything no matter how ridiculous, unreasonable, or unnatural of a border it made, and then refused to relinquish it short of death.
In SEV, even your own systems are enemy systems and show up red in the filter.

i think someone mentioned here in the forum that the display of the claimed systems is currently bugged. the ai should normaly claim systems like the human player, set up a colony and you set a claim.

Agree on better border definition
I agree. It shouldn't be too hard either considering each flag set has coloured icons for this exact purpose!
