(1.17) Funny graphics bug: system sized ships |

Occured after loading a saved game in both tactical combat and system view. Combat proceeded as usual, but the monster sized ships were bigger than the attacked planet and made combat impossible to follow.
System: nVidia Gforce 7800 GTX with 84.56 forceware driver on 1280*1024 at 32bits, AMD 4400+ dual core, 2GB ram.

Re: (1.17) Funny graphics bug: system sized ships
I have the same problem with 1.20 (download version). I use Windows 2000 with the last DirectX. It happens quite often and its really annoying!
Re: (1.17) Funny graphics bug: system sized ships
The supersize ship problem still happens in SEV v1.35. It's particularly annoying when you're in the movement replay phase and when a huge ship go trough a warp point. It take so much times that you have to do Ctrl-Alt-Del to kill the game. Then hoping that reloading the last save game and redoing the end turn process again won't do the problem again. When you have lots of ships moving at mid game, the turn process is a real hell because of that.
I'm using an nVidia GeForce 7900GT graphic card with a dual core system, 1GB RAM.

Wow, that's what they call a worldship? 8O

I got that as well at one
I got that as well at one time when I messed with DirectX settings for acceleration. Giving it full acceleration in every setting (DirectX, not SEV) again solved it.
