Ground Combat issue in 1.17 |

I have just come across a ground combat bug. I successfully conquered a hostile planet that had 2 Weapons Platforms and 1 satalite on it. My troops diligently destroyed the two WPs, but the Sat didn't show (there where no enemy Milita on the planet, but I had reduced its population to only a couple of million before my ground troops arrived).
On the next turn I once again fought a ground combat on this planet but there where no enemy on the planet (backed up be the battle report). I did get one milita to back up my remaining ground troops.
When I investigated further I noticed the planet had a sat (this was the enemy sat) on it, which I was unable to launch. I was able to scrap the sat though, this resolved the problem.
I am not sure if the enemy should have had a milita or not in its 1st defence. Also it appears that Sats (and possible drones and mines) aren't being automatically destroyed when a ground combat has finished.

Doesn’t sound major as you already found a work round and if you report it as a possible but I am sure it will be dealt with shortly. Ground combat itself sounds like its working just some post conquest scrip which needs tweaking
