Is there any other source for the patch? This file download is really bottlenecked.
I started my first try 2
I started my first try a few hours ago, went well till I reached 6.7MB of the patch ( downloading with 8.08 kb/s ), after that point no bit was added and after ~20 more mins windows quit the download with an timeout message.
So I tried it twice, but it went even worse, was not able to get even 1 MB till I got the timeout message again.
Will try it in a few days again.

lol, you evil monkey. well.. i'll played for a while and everything seems to work fine. i can play with 18 players and its processing turns much faster than when i was playing with 9 with the 1.13 patch. also, ground combat works fine and i just captured an enemy's home planet ^^ (yes... 4 billion slaves...)
