TCP/IP multiplayer in 1.13? |
Good Evening,
Multiplayer over TCP/IP remains impossible for me under 1.13; It's unfortunate, as the major reason I bought the game was to play it with my buddies- In retrospect I should have tried with the demo first, but I was excited to try it..
1.08 had the problem of not swapping the first turn file (Which has a workaround posted elsewhere), but after updating to 1.13, It hangs when hitting Process Turn. There is a progress bar, which goes to 100%, but then never starts the game. It doesn't send the game files to the players.
I've let this sit for over an hour, and nothing ever happens..
Thoughts welcome.

There are a few tips that can get you a good game in 1.13.
If you do all of the following the game becomes reletivly playable.
1. All AI vs player
2. No Intel
Turning these settings stops infighting between AI (slow AI turns)
And the stuck processing turn bug (it's related to intel that one).
A patch is due soon i think.
