Space Empires V General
Hello,
I have encountered few weird things.
1)I have build defend base near my planet, but it doesnt fire on enemy ships attacking it.
2)I have Treaty of Peace with another race, they enter my system, blow up my ships, bombard my colonies and I am still in peace with them. This is bug or feature?

thank you for your help. Supply was not present on base 
As for treaty, you are right - no nonagression is in terms. However I would asume that bombardment of planet and killing of milions of citizens would automaticaly revoke any treaties and lead to war. But now I know better.

1: did you place supply and ordenance storages on the base?
or did you maybe give the base teh standard order in battle to "don´t get hurt"? then it won´t fire automaticaly.
2: you should check the treaty terms. it is possible that the treaty is called "treaty of peace" but that the term "non agrassion" is not part of it. if AI offers you treatys you have to read them carefully, they sometimes make you strange offers
