Space Comabat totally unusable? |
Most of the time my space comaat is unusabvle, tactical AND strategically.
Basically the ships are HUGH and the camera is directly "In them". I sort of see nothing but a gray hull that covers most of my screen. So far I had ONE (!) usable combat ever, and that was an attack on a plant. All the others are blind - tactican and strategical.
I seem to be unable to zoom out.
Anyone an idea? I mean, the game is simly unusable anyway, but maybe someone is interested in fixing this.

No problems here, no big ships, tactical and strategic combat works here.
I normally use small fleets of ships, all under my direct control.
But I read here in the forums about a bug, so that you get large hulls, maybe it is just that bug.
With what version are you playing? Have you tried to edit the settings.txt?

it is the big ship bug. Try restarting the game. also tends to happen in windowed mode.

Get the same problem as was written, but only one time. After restarting it worked correctly..
Also had some problems with graphical options... But i suppose it tend to my graphic card

Have you tried playing in Window mode? It helped with a lot of the problems I was having but I've never had your problem.
