Saving An Empire During Game Creation |
Probably a simple mistake on my part but I can't quite figure out what I'm doing wrong.
When setting up a new map, I always have to go through the process of creating a human player - again. Once I've set all the parameters for the empire I cannot save it. The "Save Empire" button doesn't respond.
What am I doing wrong?
Try selecting the empire in
Try selecting the empire in the list (clicking on it) and then selecting the Save Empire button. I have noticed the same problem and I am pretty sure this is how I overcame it.
I have an open issue on a different save empire error where I get an access violation when saving an empire from within a running game.
-Currently subjecting multiple galaxies to the doom of conquer or blackholes

Thanks, Carlos, I'll give that a try. 
And for what it's worth, I just tried saving an empire in my current game right after reading your response - and it worked! I think that's one of the things that disturbs me the most - different players having something work but it doesn't for others. (By the way, I'm running 1.13 if that makes any difference.)
Yah it is kind of weird how
Yah it is kind of weird how the same thing causes completely different reactions for different users. Case in point Screen Resolution issues, I get a black border around the game @ 1280 x 1024 (or whatever my max is, I can't think right now :/) and others have it run fine and fill the whole monitor at that resolution.

are you playing the demo version?? maybe it´s deactivated there?!
