When you click on a ship
When you click on a ship there will be a box in the description area that says 'Experience' and has values like 'Novice +0%', 'Elite +20%', etc.
(Note: To see this screen when selecting a ship grouped with a planet, asteroid field, storm, or other ships you have to right click it; to view the info on a ship in a fleet right click the fleet and select the Icon for Unit information - then right click the ship you want to view the info for; you can also select the fleet and press 'F' and then right click the ship you want to view)
