Graphic corruption?? |
Is anyone else getting graphic corruption occasionally through their turn? The background of the screen (no matter what's being shown, whether ship design or an information help screen), and sometimes the component graphics, become messed up ... almost like a diagonal skewing of the image. I have an integrated graphics card, so this could be the issue, but I'm not sure.
The workaround is easy, I just minimize the game and then bring it back up, and everything gets reset perfectly. But it happens 3-4 times every turn, on different screens each time.
Set the graphic to 16 bit
I had the same problem, and I solved it by setting the Graphic resolution to 16 bits.
A similar graphical issue...
I will occasionally get some vertical flickering while playing, usually when I have a subwindow open. The flickering seems to happen in the command panel, where the popup help would usually display. I've also had the icons for the command panel disappear on me when alt-tabbing out of the game and then coming back, but I've just attributed that to the fact that I have a non-standard display setup.
what's your VGA card?
I'm running on a variety of nvidia chipsets and not having any problems at all. Are you at the latest rev of your graphics drivers?
