Hi!
Please excuse my huge n00bness.

I'm running SEV 1.74 under Steam and WinVista. I want to play a Manual File Transfer game
with a friend, but have had problems trying to process a new turn after collecting all the .plr files.

In the manual, they say you can process turns for such games by doing it on the commandline.

I've tried to run the SE5.exe file directly, and it fails, complaining about not having the steam.dll.
Trying to run the standard Steam Launcher (with the necessary command line arguments tacked on the end) is just as fruitless.

Tried to make a batchfile for it too... nada.

I've been a little busy the last couple of days. About 3:30 AM CDT September 13, 2008, A guy named Ike came right over my house. I am better off than a lot of my neighbors in nearby cities as we have the lights back on already. The water and sewer never went down due to prior planning by the city I'm in. We lost a few shingles and a small tree or two but watching the TV makes me realize I could be a lot worse off. Gasoline and groceries are still problematic but my family, personally, is not suffering and the house is still standing. My thoughts go out to those who lost everything. Some lost it all, even their lives.

Is MM working on a patch for MS Vista? My planetary systems are all squished.

Is it possible to change the ship controls so that you can use a joystick or game controller???
It would make some of the play a little easer...
Or would it take a mod or a program modification????
