Anyone run into this bug (deteriorating gameplay until it gets unplayable)Soumis par steinar96 le Mer, 2008-07-09 07:17 Space Empires V GeneralI've already filed a bug report, but this seems to be a bug that wont go away unless there is a workaround or a patch is made. I'm running V1.74 of SE5 This bug is a progressing bug, it'll be pretty much non existant at first but things start to deteriorate as the game progresses. Unit movements start getting "backward" twitches, where it twitches backwards and forth in the direction its moving at a constantly increasing frequency. At first maybe 1-2 times over a movement of 10 hexes. Then after 150-200 in game turns the backwards movement starts getting the upper hand and the ships actually start to go BACKWARDS. Which results in a totally unplayable game after 150-200 turns. |

I've found that if you're building a repair ship anyway, loading an Emergency Propulsion in it is well worth it, except that once I put it in a fleet (that goes faster than it without the EP), I have to take it out of the fleet to use the EP. |
What makes a warp point "uncloseable"?Soumis par floyt le Mer, 2008-07-09 19:43 Space Empires V FAQsAnd here I thought I finally had a way to deal with that stupid outlying border system with its hard-to-defend warp point... just close it. Turns out I can't though; I get the message that "this warp point is protected from closing" or something like that, from either side. The same happens in any other system I have tried it. So what makes a warp point eligible/ineligible for closing? Can I just affect the ones I created myself? |

The question is if it is possible to prevent fighters from launching automaticly at the start of a fight All replies are appreciated. |
