I know you can change how the planets are genorated from other mods, but I think if each solar system was larger then they could be made even more realistic. |
Odd planet eventSoumis par capnq le Lun, 2008-10-06 06:17 Space Empires V GeneralI recently got a "New Planet Formed" Event in one of my solo games (stock v1.74). The Log message says the planet "formed naturally". Oddly, the new planet's resource values are all 0%. Has anyone else seen this before? Is this all zeroes a bug, or just a very unlucky random chance? Could the fact that there were no asteroids in the sector from which to form the planet have caused the zero values? (The system's single asteroid cluster is in a different sector, and wasn't converted.) |

I've been working on my own little mod for SE:V (mostly for LAN's with my buddies and such) but I've run into a problem. I'm trying to add a new ship type "Skirmisher" but I'm not sure where to put it. I've tried in the "VehicleSizes.txt" up at the top, but that doesn't work. The only other place I've found any info is in the UnitTypes file...but I want it to be a ship, not a unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! |
