Planets automatically launching fighters and sending them to a local location.Soumis par _Kraft le Jeu, 2008-05-29 09:42 Space Empires V GeneralI've been trying to figure out if this is possible w/o success. Ex. Can you set a planet to create fighters and automatically launch them (this would be a big help alone) and send them to a local location? In larger games, this functionality would remove a significant part of the tedious work. Please let me know if this is even possible. If not, it would be a great feature to have. |
Smart automatic build queuesSoumis par _Kraft le Jeu, 2008-05-29 09:54 Space Empires V GeneralIs there a way to set an automated build queue to always build the latest ship of that type? Ex. Presently, I have a planet set to build med fighters, I would choose the specific one. It will keep building the specific one as specified continuously. What I would like is to be able to specify the generic type "medium fighter" and it will always produce the latest design I've created under that generic type "medium fighter". This will save me from having to run though all the production queues once I redesign a ship. This would be applicable to all ships (since I upgrade often to include the latest technology). |
Computer AI team mode issue.Soumis par _Kraft le Jeu, 2008-05-29 10:14A few small things that hopefully won't be considered a feature request. 1. When playing w/o the intelligence ability option off (NO SPYING). The AI still builds many intelligence centers (wasting resources on this type of NO SYPING game. 2. When the playing with the AI in team mode, they tend to mix races of different atmospheres types on planets and thus can't use the planet to their maximum potential. This further severely weakens their cause. This may also be handled by a modification to the migration algorithms by simply setting the population migration to move from domed planets that are not their native atmosphere type. |
Not seeing weapons platforms or troops on my planetsSoumis par Tarwok le Jeu, 2008-05-29 11:52 Space Empires V Generalnew to the game and trying to add weapons platforms and troops to planets, I create them, transport them, unload cargo and it shows in the cargo but doesnt show troops in the "Occupying troops on planet" area or in the solar system screen under the planet icon indicating the number of "units" on the planet. Stupid enemy has them why cant I? Any help would be appreciated |

I'll have to dust off the mod (and my brain) and get back to work on it, but I am shooting for a new version some time after v1.73 goes live. This next version has one new feature in particular that I want to use, that should allow the AI to evaluate and re-negotiate treaties based on content. Utilize the waypoint feature to have built ships automatically go to their waypoint staging area. |
