Colonies showing colonizable

I just ran into a weird situation where 2 planets in my starting system show the green circle indicating colonizable. When I sent a colony ship to one it said something like "Unable to colonize an Ice planet." I'm using 1.71 on Balance Mod 1.14a. The map I'm using was custom made thru the SE5 map generator. The race is the Sithrak which I used 50,000 starting tech points. Attached is the save game.

Newbie lost in space

Hello,
I have some questions about the UI:
- can all these flags and icons over the planets be simplified or removed? I still get very confused when looking at this main window
- when scrolling through ships with remaining movement points, I sometimes have trouble finding it (see question one); is there something like 'center on selected ship/unit'?
-I tried to make my own construction queue report layout, but it does not fit in the window; can I resize the windows or change the font size?
(- why can't it look more like 'Stars!'? Rhetorical question Smiling )

Tactical Combat

Is it at all possible to play a multiplayer game with tactical combat?
I have read that some people say hamachi is good for multiplayer, so will it allow Tactical combat? or will it be exactly the same as a TCP/IP connection?
P.S.
I know of PBW, the idea holds absolutely no appeal to me at all.

Mesh BM FQM and Asteroids

Mashing together BM v1.11 (Captain Kwok), FQM v1.12 (Imperator Fyron) and Asteroids v1.03 (Marhawkman)

Uunless there are major changes this process should work for the latest updates to these mods.

Step One
Unzip your Asteroids into its on GameType folder.

Step Two
Mesh BM and FQM mods into a BM_FQM folder per instructions at Fyron’s website http://fqm5.spaceempires.net/help.php .

Step Three
Editing the Components text file.
Copy and paste the text for the Asteroid Colony component into your new Component.txt file. If you are thinking of trying a saved game do all the pasting into the end of your text files.

Ship Structure

is ship strucutre unimplemented because i cant figure out a way to give ships a starting structure. This is important as if i have no other way i will be focrced to use components which will slow me down greatly
