SE5 Challenge Scenario I |
Your people were about to start it great trek into space when a bloody civil war broke out. The war lasted for many years and billions were killed. The year is now 2401.5 and your race is now at peace again and back on track toward its goal of colonizing space. You quickly discover however that the other races in your section of the galaxy have a big head start on you. Now as the leader of your war torn civilization you must bring your people into a new and successful era of interstellar exploration. Many challenges wait for you beyond the stars, good luck.
This scenario uses Kwok’s Balance Mod v0.92 and Space Empires 5 v1.08. To begin playing just extract the .zip file into you savegame directory.

This will only work with the 1.08 patch; to use it in 1.66 you would need to add all of the new data file fields added since 1.08 (the error messages given by the game tell you exactly what needs copying into the files).

That's two serious steps backwards for most people. Any chance you can do some updating instead?

it doesnt work at all. here they are:
main strings.txt is missing or not working and not containing log message txt, unknown value for a few components
