What do you love / like about the game in the state it's in?

I'm of the opinion now that I have seen enough gripe threads about this game so far. No offense but lets post some positives for a while also!

Don't mistake my attitude with dismissal of legitimate complaints. We have all felt the sting of the bugs in one way or another. Eye-wink

We don't invite the bugs to the picnic, but it really wouldn't be a picnic without a few bugs now would it?

I have been hooked on this whole game concept from MOO2 and I played SE4 with admiration. I also have been playing SE5 with the same degree of awe that got me hooked in SE4!

I want this to be a positive thread; in other words: no gripes allowed here!

I will start.

I love the 3d combat! I find myself in awe of the state of the combat system as of today and can honestly only express my admiration for the direction it is taking. The combat graphics are extremely satisfying, and very well rendered! The diversified array of weapons all display unique graphics when fired and stay very respectably true to 'theoretical' real world physics when it comes to the abuse they inflict upon unprepared enemies with and tone down nicely with visibly muted effects against the enemies that do come prepared!

This is no rock/paper/scissors affair which too many mainstrem games have fallen prey to in order to appeal to the lowest common denominator of game audience!

This combat system is the honest to God 'thinking man's combat'! With the incredible array of weapon choices and multiple levels of sophistication, I can't help but applaud the entire combat system.

I'm looking forward to how MM improves upon the solid design model for combat and I have every expectation that modders of the combat system will create some innovative and wonderful additions to SE5.

Share your thoughts on what you like about the game!

Remember..no negatives here, only post the positives you like about the game and the positives tracks a few ideas are on that can be improved.

Even if there are no responses, thanks for reading this!
