I may just simply have missed how to do it... but.... in the second game I have started on SE5 I built a weapons platform and it just sat there in my cargo area on the planet. How do I deploy it?

In SE, weapons platforms are not "orbital"; they're surface installations.

They are operational as soon as they are built. Cargo space only governs how many you can have at a time on the planet.

You don't need to deploy weapon platforms.
