Planet Details no longer available when clicking planet picture |
In the Demo (pre-1.00) you could click on the planet picture and it would bring up a full report on the planet, including telling about it's cargo and facilities, inhabitants, etcetera.
It was a very useful report.
In v1.00 and also v1.08, clicking on the planet no longer brings up details about the planet. Instead it just makes the picture bigger.
Not true!
Actually clicking on the planet picture (left or right) always brought up the planet's portrait. If you right click on the info box next to planet's little pic, you'll get the report.

After reading the above
After reading the above post, I had to double check. Because I remembered the frustration of behavior modification.
In the downloadable demo, dated 9-11-06, and available from Filefront or strategy first, you can right click the planet, and the planet's report window comes up.
That's odd
Strange. I've never had the planet report come up with a click on the planet's picture - it's always led to the large portrait in all the versions I've played...

Found out that the report is still in the game, but only by right clicking a planet and going to the bottom of the menu, there's a listing for "[planetname] report"
