Multiplayer - TCP/IP over LAN |
Started my first multiplayer game this weekend, and four games (restarts) later I have got the following questions:
1) Combat replays dont work for the clients, - I have found many threads with this problem but no solutions. Is there a 3rd party viewer that can be used?? Since the files do get transferred, there must be a problem else where.
2) I have read that transfer ships dont pick up the cargo. What i did notice is that if I load 100Kt and I only have space for 50Kt, nothing gets picked up. - Is this a bug or a feature??? - I thought that it would pick up the 50kt and report - full cargo can not load 50kt.
3)how do i use the addtional movement points when exploring a new warp point?
Or is the only way to use max points the explore nearest unknown system command?

1) got the same problem and no solution
2) i think its a bug. I had do give the load order on by one to my units. If i try by mistake to load more then possible or make the mistake to sent one unit to two different ships, no one gets tranfered.
even if it is one mistake between lots of load orders.
3.) I think ist ok. this way. Not every space pilot likes to die young.
its logical first to pass through a wormhole, then scann. and start flying after the pilot knows if there is a friedly black hole on the way or unfriendly enemy ships.
