quick 1.08 bug report

After playing a few turns with the patch I noticed a couple possible bugs...

The game would drop to rediculously slow frame rates when opening a planet report sometimes... Not sure what triggers it and it doesn't happen all the time.

Ships would sometimes lose their orders. I had a ship surveying a system and for some reason the ship dropped the order for no reason.

When opening the planetary construction queue, sometimes the game hangs for a few seconds before opening the screen. Queueing up production seemed to bring it back to normal.

The survey order is removed once all hexes in the system have been explored - is that the case? A second possibility is that you have ships clearing orders when an enemy or other ships are present - these settings can be adjusted in the Empire Options menu.

Some of the list screens have to load/gather an awful lot of information which is probably the source of the hiccup on opening. I wonder if more optimization can be done in this area?

The system was not fully

The system was not fully explored, no... nor was there any enemy that I could see... and there's no way there could be since I set the game to start empires far apart.

Did you have a lowish sensor range, and did the ship move directly towards the star in the system and then stop suddenly (possibly with movement remaining)

If by lowish, you mean one basic sensor module, then yes... It did exactly as you described. I guess this is a known issue then...
