Hi, guys... I'm from Ukraine and speak English badly, but I like SE5 and I am upset about dumb SE5 AI... I searched for SE5 players in Ukraine but nothing was found.. I want to ask you... How can play several men from different countries without miscomprehensions?
I'll play with pleasure but this thing disturbs me very much

many time zones between the players is not a problem, but it makes the game annoying and too long, isn't it?

If you want to play the AI use the MOD Unnamed's Stock AI MOD at http://wiki.spaceempires.net/index.php/Unnamed%27s_Stock_AI_mod for one place.

Well, no guarantees about misunderstandings, but the best place to try multiplayer games is http://pbw.go.dyndns.org/. Register at the site, read the FAQ and browse around a bit. When you are comfortable just check out the open games lists for SEIV and SEV. In my games some players are more than 10 time zones apart from eachother, so that's why such games need to allow for reasonable turn times. All in all it's a lot more fun than solo games versus the weak AIs.
There are other ways to play multiplayer games but I have never tried them. Check for the Hamachi thread in this forum.
