SE5 with sava problems

Why i can't save my game in the windows Vista operating system,the game doesn't seem to function properly,version 1,71 from direct2drive?Game says:can't create folder to save.Game worked fine with Windows XP.Game seems also stuck in first turn.Help!

I don't know the specifics, but it sounds like you don't have the correct privileges in Vista to make folders in the program files directory (assuming that's where you installed the game). You can try re-installing SE5 to a C:\Games folder instead of the default location, I think that should correct your save game issues.

Oh, man. Vista is a huge problem... Only th DirectX attract me in it...

Install XP as second system - my advise... Or install SE5 in C drive and non-system directory

Cap't K's fix should work for you:
Program Files folder in vista is not normally writable. The protected program files folder is why many software vendors don't support vista.
