Combat during opponents' turn |

Space Empires V General
During the opponents' turns, if you get attacked you only see a message saying that there is a combat. I would find extremely useful to be able to see where the combat is taking place, and which are the ships involved before choosing to play it in tactical mode or strategic mode...
Is there a way to do this already, or is something completely missing?
