Dumb Question |
I love space empires and have been playing since SE3 but I for some reason have never played multiplayer. I was telling my friend about the game and he wanted to play with me. he asked. "you can play online right?" and a vetren of years said. "...I think so." so hear I am. How do you play online? and please keep in mind I'm not that computer savvy so please in the name of all thats good keep it simple. Thanks in advance.

The other way is if you want tcp/ip then get Hamachi going first.

What benefits are there for using Hamachi (LAN) instead of a TCP/IP connection?

You still use a TCP/IP connection... the difference is that SE5 can actually play ok in a virtual LAN, whereas trying to get TCP/IP mode to work with end-user routers in the picture is a nightmare.
