Newbie lost in space |
Hello,
I have some questions about the UI:
- can all these flags and icons over the planets be simplified or removed? I still get very confused when looking at this main window
- when scrolling through ships with remaining movement points, I sometimes have trouble finding it (see question one); is there something like 'center on selected ship/unit'?
-I tried to make my own construction queue report layout, but it does not fit in the window; can I resize the windows or change the font size?
(- why can't it look more like 'Stars!'? Rhetorical question

You can remove, change size and edit which of the icons you want to see ingame under Empire Options / System Display.
I don't think that you can center on a selected ship, but for the hex in which they are is underlined, you should be able to find them. (I know, sometimes you just do not see them...) 
Don't think that you can refit the window. The size is definitly a problem, but I found out, that Name, Item under construction, construction time, planet icons, emergency build, fit into the window and show anything I need.

Because the SE UI is known for being difficult and unintuitive. It would be heresy to fix that.
